The pH 1000 probe is easy to use and resists the usual wear and tear. This sensor operates reliably in a variety of environments, including Hydrokube, swimming pools and aquatic crops. The sensor is also ideal for measuring the pH of treated water in your pool or aquarium. This precise pH probe is essential for regular use. Not to mention that the pH probe is affordable and requires little maintenance. What's more, it provides reliable readings in a variety of environments, from greenhouses to science classrooms. And with its durable polycarbonate body and integrated glass protection of the measuring surface, it guarantees the usual resistance to wear and tear. Compatible with all pH meters accepting a BNC connector.
- The pH probe offers very fast response times thanks to its platinum measuring surface,
- Its design ensures stable measurements,
- The sensor is sealed, eliminating the need for maintenance,
- The polycarbonate sensor body is designed for frequent use in the laboratory or in the field,
- The electrode is supplied in a storage bottle for long shelf-life, and the pH probe is ready for instant use.
With regard to storage, we recommend storing the probe in its original bottle with a 3.5 M KCl/AgCl reference solution. You should also avoid storing the electrode dry or in distilled water, as this may deplete the internal saline solution of KCl ions. Although dry storage is possible, rehydration of the sensor bulb or reconditioning of the probe is required before use. Above all, storage in a dedicated solution is recommended. Tap water or a pH 4 solution can be used temporarily.
