Installation and commissioning

Installation and initial operation are carried out by local plumbing and heating professionals. We want to offer a local service from professionals in your area. They are specialists in their field. What’s more, they are Hydrokube approved. This tells you that they’ve been well trained in Hydrokube products and placement. Constantly on the increase, they are scattered across the country, giving you a local presence. It is also possible to propose your own plumbing and heating professional. We will require them to undergo training before becoming authorized installers.

Cylinder replacement

Your installer can help you manage CO2 cylinder replacement safely and efficiently. He can also check water quality to fine-tune settings if necessary. With a Hydrokube, this check is carried out using a pH meter (more details in FAQs: “Link between hardness and limescale”).

Don’t hesitate to talk to him about it during installation.

In addition to installation and commissioning, we can also offer a maintenance service (installation check and CO2 cylinder replacement).


Unlike a salt water softener, the Hydrokube requires no special maintenance. That way, you can be sure of big savings.

The only action needed, which you can do yourself, is to replace the CO2 cylinder. Simply check the CO2 level in the bottle after consuming 100 m3 of water (equivalent to the average consumption of a 4-person household over a year). To do this, the dial on the CO2 regulator closest to the cylinder will give you a good, clear, direct indication. You’ll also find explanations in your instruction manual.
